Confusion species
Many species of Phyllonorycter are extremely similar, great care should
be given when separating these species. It is often impossible to
separate the adults of some species.

Lifestage data
Leaf miner. Eggs laid on upperside of leaf. Larva forms a small oval
mine usually situated over the midrib. Pupates in a tough cocoon within
